The Blues and The Feel Goods

Sometimes when you feel blue something happens or someone does something to make you feel better or special.
YOUR FRIENSHIP MAKES ME FEEL SPECIAL TOO, ALWAYS WILL.
I was feeling kinda crappy not to long ago and was skipping through some of the Bix singers songs to comment and make sure they felt better about their day.., and I was taken by complete surprise..., I saw my name on this one singer's song information.. A song dedicated to me! ME!? I gotta tell ya, I went all drippy and suddenly felt special.

My buddy / special lady friend, Amy (who was hospitalized for a diabetic problem recently - and of whom i featured two songs here not too long ago) Dedicated a song just for me. Amy - I thank you again, it means far more to me than you will ever realize. I listen to this quite a bit.

The Day After

Any body have a tummy ache this morning? Ya slobs! You ate yourselves into a stupor and now you're paying the price. But hey, you are my friends and I love yas, be ye slobs or hoity doity doyley type of finicky picky eaters.

GOOD MORNING! GET THE COFFEE READY FER DOING SOME SPITTIN...

I had a good Thanksgiving. We all gathered around the table waiting patiently with fork and knives in hand..., waiting for the blessings to be said. Once that was out of the way, the fight was on. The poor turkey didn't have a chance! FEATHERS FLEW LEFT AND RIGHT - Someone screamed - we stopped and noticed some cat fur in the mix of feathers. In how many languages (including slang) can one say "Uh Oh!"?. But its okay - as I understand it, cat meat is lean, and healthy for ya. Unfortunately eating it isn't healthy for the cat.

MISS YA MY FRIEND. HOPE NO CATS ARE MISSING AT YUR HOUSE.

Of course - I AM kidding. No cat fur got mixed up with the turkey feathers. We had a decent meal, and were relatively happy. I'll be vacuuming the feathers up in the morning - but a good time was had by all.

Well thats my story and I'm sticking to it. Have a "Happy Day After" and keep the cats off the turkey this Christmas, to avoid an upsetting scene.
