Clearly - I am officially old.  My head aches, my back aches, my butt aches, my knee aches - in fact my aches ache.   Just thought you who hang on my every word should know.  You may send care packages, money and retirement home brochures because it looks like I'll be needing them.

Am I getting good at belly aching or what?  OH MAN! ANOTHER ACHE!  SEEE!?  I told you I was getting old. Nurse! Nurse! More meds please! I see dead people! .., no.., **looks closer**..., hmmmm.  No..,not dead people. Bored sleeping people! I see bored sleeping people - Wake up!

Today - the back is killing me - hence the inspiration to my last entry. There's some level of pain daily, but for the last two days its gotten rather.., hefty.   On the good news.., I lost a total of 8 pounds over the last 2 ½ months.  I haven't gone on any special diet, and exercise is rather limited so - as long as I don't drop past 175 pounds (when I hit 175 pounds) this is a good thing.  Hopefully this trend continues.

My suggested weight by bone mass, etc.., is 165.., but thats crap.  At 165 pds I could be knocked off my feet like a feather.  Ancient history says 175 pounds was my personal ideal weight.   Unless I shrunk like my Dad has.., I'm 5'11" tall.   I find it funny or somewhat surreal that when asked his hight, Dad will automatically say 5'11".   He used to be, but now?  Just guestimating.., today he is about 5' 8" if that.  Its a funny thing how some men (or even women) will shorten with age, and others are pretty much the same as in their youth.

Here's one for Herb.  I purchased my first western paperback book since I was around 15 years of age.  And yep - Louis L'Amour - is the man! When I was a kid, thats almost ALL I would read is Louie L'Amour books.  The Church's pastor where the family attended found out and told my Dad that these were evil, vile literature and that resulted in Dad trashing them.  If it were the porn variety - I would have understood. but anyways...,  I'm not sure why its taken me this long to pick up reading them again.   The fact that it was on sale for dirt cheap also gave me incentive.. LOL.  So now I'm reading the dirty vile Louis L'Amour's "SHALAKO".  YAY ME! 

Incidentally - the Pastor's 10 year old son read westerns religiously.  I had a hard time respecting that man.  Not all of them were like that preacher - thank God. Double standardisms are hard to respect.

Today is the beginning of the rest of your life.  What ad-genius dreamed that one up? It sounds nice and all that but really...

.., you marvelous people you!  Okay - that out of the way.., I found this AMAZING VOICE that I am in love with. Absolutely freaking in love with.  She sings a song done by Charlie Pride and Ray Charles..,  that just when I thought couldn't possibly be equaled..., BAM!  Along comes a lady who brings it in..., Josie Josim.
