I ate till my eyeballs were bulging - my belly didnt fair much better. We ate our budget Christmas Goose (chicken) and let Tiny Tim sing his song.. "Tip toe, through the tulips...." then we took him out and broke his legs. I'm pretty sure thats not a Christmas song. All in all it was a wholesome relaxing day.
I watched an amazing Christmas type documentary film on New York City winters - and I honestly didnt know the snow piled that high there, nor did I know that hungry wolves prowled the streets!!! " The Day After Tomorrow". But the highlight of my day was watching Bob Hope's 70s USO Tours. The man was a master of comedy and didnt need four letter F-bombs to get a laugh like these sleezy class-less bumbs today.
That's all I gotta say for now. I'll mosey along now and try to find something to substitute the Stair Master no one got me for Christmas. Not that I really expected anything. Im just not into getting stuff now days. I just get my Grandkiddo something and the daughter and son in law -the rest have to fend for themselves.. Muahahahaaa!

Day After Tomorrow ... what a waste of film! I was so disappointed in that thing. I'm sure your version is MUCH better, Daveman!

I was going to send you one of those belts to sweat off your chicken, but I found a box of Saran warp...It's on its way....Just make sure to poke a hole in it where your mouth is, if you want leftovers!

OMG, someone else who knows "Buckaroo Banzai". One of my all-time favourite camp classics.
"Laugh while you can, Monkey-Boy!"

The Day After Tomorrow, the worst movie? <GASP!> Such evil language. This film is destined to go down in history with other great classics like....,
* Buckaroo Bonsai
* 1947
* Killer Tomatoes
* The Virgin Suicides
* The Atomic Avenger
... and oh so much more! | |

Ah, yes, Day After Tomorrow - about THE worst movie I ever seen. Regardless of opinion on global warming, I found the writing and directing just laughable. Then I learned that it wasn't supposed to be a comedy.
I'm with you. I don't want gifts for Christmas - leave that stuff for the kiddos.
Happy day after Christmas!
